Don't understand the MWC rationale. Those aren't the 2 best teams and it should have been a rematch with SDSU and New Mexico. That was really a good game on Friday.

Yeah I heard about that last night but still stinks.
Agree. I thought SDSU would have the best computer numbers for that tiebreaker. Unless I’m forgetting something, their 34-0 win over Cal is easily the best win of anyone in the conference. Rematch with New Mexico would have been great

I don't know what to make of Texas Tech. I don't think a Top 5-10 team has ever gotten less national publicity in recent memory. They're just kind of flying under the radar going about their business.

It doesn't help that they played nobody OOC. The same can be said for the rest of the B12 too. Tech played 4 real teams this year and went 3-1 in those games. I feel like it is MWC BBall where the top teams play no one OOC and all beat each other and get into the NCAAs.

good for me with so many futures tickets on them.

Too bad for NMex and SD st.

UNLV is not one of the best 2. Lost both games vs the 4 teams
Boise without its QB is not the top 2 either

Looking at the ranked B12 teams these are teams they played OOC:

Texas Tech- Arkansas Pine Bluff, Kent State, Oregon State
BYU- Portland State, Stanford, at East Carolina
Utah- at UCLA, Cal Poly, at Wyoming
Arizona State- Northern Arizona, at Mississippi State, Texas State
Arizona- Hawaii, Weber State, Kansas State (was OOC)

I think BYU winning at ECU was their best combined OOC W.

Yep SDSU/NM would have been a fun rematch. Just about every metric I saw before last weekend had SDSU on top of those other teams. They lose in OT on the road to NM while UNLV beats a horrible Nevada team and Boise edges out an ok Utah State. No way SDSU should have dropped the way they did and NM is just better than UNLV and Boise

If Duke wins and JMU wins ACC won't have an automatic bid.
WHat an ugle year for the ACC...

One game in the FCS that is interesting to me is that the IVY got 2 teams in after all the years of not being allowed and Yale with a crazy 2nd half gets to the 2nd round and now plays as a 28 pt dog to Montana St. Biggest dog on the board. How often in FBS does is #21 team a 28 pt dog?

Undefeated Lehigh plays Villanova

the Dakotas not quite as dominant a group this year with NDst still #1 but the others below 15. still good but not the best.

TT big fav over BYU. Future wise TT down under 10-1 , if you are a BYU fan take them this week cause their 100-1+ will drop if they get in.

The same with Miami 100-1 or more but if the committee puts them in they will be 10 or 20-1 . Lots of vegas guys like the Bear are on them getting in over ND.

What of Ala loses by 25 or so to GA do they still get in with 3 losses even if the kinda set the precedent of not punishing teams for losing a title game?

I mean look at vegas odds now, ND has a higher power ranking than OLE miss or Ala. Miami should be getting compared to them not ND.

People saying JMU would be heavy favorites against Duke? Mensah would carve these guys up. My god they look pedestrian against a powerhouse Troy team early
