FBS Championship Games and FCS Playoff Games for Dec 5-6

There's a reasonable argument to be made right now that 3-loss Texas has a better resume than 3-loss Alabama.

Texas beat OU, Vandy and A&M -- three elite wins. Two elite losses (Georgia and Ohio State) and then the one dud at Florida. Isn't that a better resume than Miami, ND or Bama?
Texas went life and death against Miss State and Kentucky.

That’s fair, I didn’t consider opposite ends of the bracket, but it still makes conference “championship” games seem antiquated. I don’t think it’s fair a team like Indiana might need to take down Ohio State twice to win a title. You’ve now allowed Ohio State the potential to adjust, all for a meaningless championship game.

I have zero problem with good things in life not happening to ND, but I do objectively think that there are maybe a half dozen teams tops that would be favored against them on a neutral field today.
Actually there are three - IU, OSU and UGA. At 12 noon ND was +750 to win it all (despite being on the bubble). UGA was +700 (in 3rd behind OSU and IU). Once ND was eliminated UGA immediately dropped to +450.

Currently at the movies seeing Zootopia 2 and let out an audible gasp after seeing Miami get in on my phone. Followed by a dirty look from my wife.
No problem with it. Beat ND head to head. Also with Bama getting in the Tide's worst loss was FSU and Miami beat FSU handily.
