I will reiterate my belief that this game will feature the two deepest/best teams in the country.

I emphatically believe this will be the toughest regular season game of the year.

Whereas the RBC Center was legitimately 25%+ Orange, the YUM! will significantly (like 99.5%) be Red. They are deep and our kyptonite and Pitino has owned JB basically since he introduced him to one Juli Greene. We've had runs against them, had some great play at times, been up double digits in the 4th quarter in their house only to lose in 07, had a frantic comeback fall short in last year, was up at the half only to have a semi-local demigod rise to fame in one (and current Sr. leader, Homecoming King, and Notre Dame Cheerleader Awe-inspirer) in the Last FH game.
Hell, I think Greg %&*#g Robinson was the last Coach to beat a team from the river city (Even Softball right?)

That said, we are due. They can't get every bounce. I see a game much like @UConn last year where all the nutty bounces and hustle plays go our way, they can't hit a triple but 1 out of 10 times, and our shooting is lights out, the rebounds slip off their fingers, they keep making perfect bounce passes to assistant coaches or those in Orange. Everything just clicks. A game like Michgan St. in the dome a few years back or reverse DePaul 2006. It just has to happen eventually right?

I want to be there when this happens. Who among my Orange brethren is with me?

You are going? I so want to go again this year. I was there last year when we looked like we had a chance but then they just seemed to drain every 3 they tried. If I remember correctly Brandon had a monster game but they still beat us pretty good.

I feel like I got screwed this year... monday night really and the Cincy game is also on a week day ahhh. All the games within a few hundred miles of me are weekdays :bang:

I thought about it and I am probably not going to go as I would have to take a day off of work. But if you can get a deal on tickets let me know I'll think about it. Nice meeting you in NOLA and L-Ville for foodball BTY hope we can meet up again for a game soon.

I'm going to try to get down there this time. Their bigs are rapidly improving. That is what concerns me the most. The african big guy and Buckles are going to be tough to handle battling for boards.

Syracuse will lose to Louisville. Let's just accept it and not worry about it.

reverse jinx obv

Hate losing to both Louisville and Pitt. We have had better teams against these 2 teams and still have lost. Until we start beating them, I will just accept that our style of play just doesn't work well against them.

I go to UC and am planning to go that game. I'm assuming the Ville game will be really tough to get tickets to? Especially for a poor college student?

Ah to be young, unmarried, no kids and the flexibility to travel to away games...seems like a pipe dream in the world I live in.

It's not easy to get tickets last year I had to use StubHub

I fit 1 of 4 of those categories and this "away" game is 100 miles from my house.
