You are going to be disappointed to learn that Syracuse has idiot fans. That's guaranteed. I mean what are they going to do to him, heckle him? I mean who cares. He's coaching the other team now.

Shafer is a good guy like we've all said. I'm sure he's not expecting to be carried in on a chariot to his coaching box. I think it would be 100x worse if he decided to coach at Rutgers/Uconn

I think we're on the same page. He's football coach 101. He probably loves the jostling with the fans. I doubt something more than that happens. I mean if Marrone left Syracuse for Louisville instead of the Bills it may have been a different calculus.

You do know who sits just next to the visitor's coaches box and is about as loud and obnoxious as a fan can get, don't you?

Here's a hint - he's quite a bit older than 22...

Can't wait to see if he has his corners 8 feet off the LOS. That frigging drove me bananas. Scheme this. I understand the blitz-heavy packages they brought helped, but opposing OC's would just line up quick hits play after play and Shaf's D would get smoked.

We will screen them to death, but eventually the corners will start to cheat and jump one of the routes. That's an easy pump fake and TD-6 over the top to Custis.
