Finally saw Fury, wow great war film.

I thought it was fantastic overall. The part in the village with the civilians dragged a little but admittedly it also added to the tension for that very reason. Top to bottom the whole cast was good and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I could not get past the end battle. It show guys with Panzershecks and then a disables tank somehow can last for hours against a column like that? It was just too incredible at the end, there needed to be more of a sence that it was a bottleneck and the Germans had to come from only one direction.

And why the $%#$ would that German that found Lebeuf just let him go?

It was very good up to that.

There was a scene in the final battle where an NCO or officer was telling the Germans to be careful with the AT rockets because they didn't have any more. And then those guys got smoked. Unless I'm just imagining scenes that didn't happen.

As for the German, I think he realized the war was lost (it ended less than a month after the events of the film) and had enough killing.

Saw it over the weekend and really liked it. One of the things I liked the best was that they showed the men in the tank as they were. Flaws and all. Feels like a lot of times specifically in WWII the soldiers get sanitized a bit so it was refreshing to see them portrayed as normal guys.
