anyone know the players that did not travel due to injuries other than the ones we altrady knew were out.

Besides the ones we knew about, bromley had his hand wrap up last saturday while he sat out of paractice. west was given a white jersey and was limited. dont know if he will go full tomorrow. Wr's are really banged up. there were just 4 in rotation a week ago. I was told K foster could be out for awhile.

Actually my response was to the person who asked if we would see him "under center/in shotgun", which we won't. But I knew about him as an RB, I just couldn't tell anyone.

Any idea on severity of the WR injuries aside from Foster potentially being in bad shape?

I had already heard the same as well, but the players were saying not to tell anyone and deny any rumors that he was on the field. I've been hearing he's a big time playmaker since day one.

But he hasn't even been on the field much since day 1.

And the other day I said I expected Broyld to be used like Tebow was his freshmen year, so I don't actually doubt he might be throwing the ball a little.

i think there's some miscommunication going on or i'm confused. marrone has done halfback option and wr option passes a good amount in the past from guys who weren't good throwers so I would expect broyld to do them quite a bit. i think we agree here. otto is nothing if not sure of marrone's preferences. all based on marrone not wanting to go guns blazing with nassib...

HB and WR passes aren't as radical as what I'm envisioning when I think of having two QBs on the field.

The team can get away with this at the college level. The best athletes can make good things happen in college. Even in the pros, you could have some success with the best athletes. Tim Tebow was able to lead his team to the AFC Title game, & he has a great deal of development remaining to be a proficient QB.

We need to temper expectations here. I am excited about this kid too but come on, this is spring practice against a banged up defense.

On the other hand, if the WR group is that banged up, I reckon we may have just discovered why practices have been closed. A banged up WR crew can make an entire offense look awful.

Coaches know the players more than any of us. I' they are excited about him then we should be.

The great part about that is, the defense will always be expecting a pass play when he gets his hands on the ball, & they will be on their heels & frozen.

He should be worth at least 3 to 4 yards per carry average.

Sales has been practicing and looks like he hasn't missed a beat from what I hear.

well things sort of change when the HC says he's working the player out at RB or other positions. Doesn't mean he's burning his redshirt to play QB...

and you had a feeling he'd see the field this year as a RB?
