As those of you in attendance yesterday are aware, we renewed our support of the Tenth Mountain Division Association yesterday in conjunction with SU's Military Appreciation Day observance. We were privileged to have Gio Sanchexz on hand to talk a bit about the great work the Association does to support our military families and we routinely donate our portion of the 50-50 drawing to them. Yesterday we took in $750 in total and the winners of the drawing, Bob Longo and Jackie Francisco immediately donated their winnings back to the pot. With some additional on site donations we sent $1000 to the Tenth Mountain Division Association on behalf of syracusefan.com and the Fine Mess Tailgate. This was our fifth year supporting the group and this donation brings our total to $3684.

Sorry it took me so long to post, but we received a nice letter from Gio Sanchez who represented the Tenth Mountain Division Association at our Military Appreciation Day tailgate. He told me he had a ball and can't wait to join us again next year.
