Personally if I was Golden I didnt do any of the accused, I'd want to make it perfectly clear and documented that I DID NOT do any of the specific things accused.

Instead, we got "the University of Florida has found no evidence that Todd Golden violated IX"

Well...The Title IX complaint included allegations that Golden sent photos and videos of his genitalia, made unwanted sexual advances on Instagram and requested sexual favors. The school has declined requests to release records of the complaint.

If you found no evidence, I personally would insist on it being made public. Instead we get that.

Feels like he got off on technicalities.

Yeah...the allegations are way too specific to be made up. Dudes are creeps and the chances this is true are likely higher than the chances this is all made up. I'm sure the facts will show the truth. I have 2 daughters and story's like this piss me off. This guy is cooked. POS.

then the part the girl says “At first, it starts off slow, like, ‘Oh, wow. That’s odd. This guy is showing us attention,’”

the narcissim oozes off that quote...

and its just funny to me that from the first moment before he actually did anything wrong him showing attention is already odd to them.

I don't know. I'm about as liberal as it gets but that seems like a stretch in this specific case.

I find that line of thinking that’s so prevalent now such a slippery slope. Regardless of the allegations, I do believe in innocent until proven guilty. He doesn’t have to prove his innocence in the court of public opinion.

If any of this evidence in the Title IX complaint exists, it’s all digital which has a high probability of getting leaked eventually.

It’s hard to believe any university would want to cover this up for fear of it being leaked and facing the public wrath that would come with it. Then again, Penn St survived just fine so who knows. Even so, Golden would be quickly fired.

Unfortunately, there have been enough situations in sports where we found out the allegations weren’t true (e.g. Duke lacrosse, Trevor Bauer), that I’m not going to assume Golden is guilty from what I’ve read so far. If he is, I hope he’s held accountable.

Trevor Bauer had ONE case found untrue, not the majority of accusations.
