What's really strange is that DJ was a good QB last year for Oregon State. He was efficient, throwing for 21 TDs and 7 picks, and they were in the Top 25 all year.

If we're being honest, if Kyle McCord wasn't in the picture at all, and DJ somehow expressed interest in coming to SU, I would have been happy about it. I would have reasonably assumed he would have continued the trajectory he was on from his solid play in 2023. Obviously that's all out the window now.

He has all the measurables but just doesn't compete well - for whatever reason.

It's a shame that FSU has not embraced the ACC over the past two years.

The conference was there when FSU needed it.

Maybe loyalty is an old fashioned concept, but I believe loyalty to an honest, decent friend is a really important quality.

And, FSU doesn't exhibit that quality.

So, let them go 1-11.

Maybe it will wake them up.
