Purdue: 22-46, 1-1 in bowl games
Syracuse: 34-34, 3-0 in bowl games

Full decade:

Purdue: 47-72
Syracuse: 47-69

I hate when people exaggerate with their math like that. 20 years ago was 1995.

We certainly had a few very good football teams that were very relevant after 1995.

Nah. Over the last 6 years we've been quite a bit better than Purdue so it was a fair point that our national perception should at least be better than programs like that.
