Today is National Fritters Day, Aren't we all lucky that this this special day has finally arrived!?
Before you can begin to celebrate this very important day, you need to know what a "fritter" is. Many people do not know, making it all the more fun to eat your first fritter today. A fritter is a fried cake or dough with fruit or meats inside.
Whatever you do, do not fritter this day away without eating at least one fritter.

Syracuse vs Wisconsin: 5 Things to Watch (PS; Waters)
Syracuse will host Wisconsin in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at the Carrier Dome on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. The game will be on ESPN2. Syracuse is 6-0 and ranked No. 14; coming off its impressive run in the Battle 4 Atlantis. Wisconsin, which went to the last two Final Fours, has a 4-3 record. Syracuse is 1-1 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge since it joined the ACC two years ago.
Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim leaned heavily on his top six players in the Battle 4 Atlantis. Chinonso Obokoh logged two minutes total in the Bahamas. Frank Howard played five. Kaleb Joseph was the only sub other than Tyler Lydon who appeared in all three games in the Bahamas. Joseph didn't score in the tournament, went 0-for-6 from the field in an average of 8.3 minutes per game.
