North Carolina didn't pass a bill that would allow men to use women's restrooms and vice versa. Now, everyone is up in arms.

Actually they passed a bill that requires transgenders to use public restrooms that correspond to their biological gender..not the one they identify with.

Now Gov. Cuomo banned Albany from coming to NC and playing a game...I think it was Womens' BB at UNC. That is why it may become a concern for the ACC... schools refusing to play in NC.

Edit the Albany game was against Duke MBB
The WBB game that was cancelled was Vermont at UNC.

Cuomo's ban only applies to SUNY schools. He doesn't have jurisdiction over private schools. Marist actually replaced UAlbany at Duke.

UNC's trumpeted reforms were only paper reforms.
But, since they were available and equally fraudulent to students and athletes alike, there is no NCAA violation.
