Jones would make 1 athletic grab every couple weeks (when he wasn’t injured) and many thought he was going to be great. This year we had multiple of those grabs by multiple players on a weekly basis. Levels to it.

EDIT: Reminds me of a few years back Courtney Jackson went up for a ball in the endzone, I believe it was on the road against NCst in a blowout loss, and everyone was applauding him actually fighting for the ball.. This year we got to watch Jackson Meeks punk and bully CBs every single weekend. We as a fan base deserved this kind of year.
His first TD against Miami reminded me of Arinze's monster block against UNC. Just a man against a boy.

Him and his talent evaluation team. They spend a lot, and I mean a lot, of time reviewing high school videos.
 
Funny how things worked out. Alford could've played for the best pure passing QB in CFB. A guy that could've showcased you for the NFL or CFL.

I went back and watched the Ohio University game highlights and Kyles first interception of the year is on a long ball to Hatcher who didn’t bother fighting for it. Nice of Fran to continue giving Hatcher opportunities despite this

Hatcher is a flawed P4 receiver due to his lack of positive positioning in a physical catching situation. It’s what we have lacked for many years prior to Fran. Hatchers decently fast and needs to just catch the ball in open space to be effective. I feel he simply is recruited over going forward. No way you keep Emanuel Ross, JRS, Haynes off the field in lieu of Hatcher. I appreciate what Hatcher has done, he is a solid player, but I think the WR standard has been set by Meeks, Pena and OG.
