I mean I could use Hershel Walker or Eric Dickerson but that guy shouldn't have wait to 3 years to play in the NFL. He is a man among boys watching him stretch a 1 year run into a 20 yard was scary. Next week he won't be playing in the 2nd half. LSU looks really good.

He's the real deal.

He will be in NYC for the Heisman when its passed out. He has a shot at it

Very hard for a rb to win it, but if anyone can, it him, he is the best rb I have seen since Walker.

LSU's first play will be play action to Fournette and Harris throwing a bomb downfield.

Miles will try to keep SU honest on D and take the crowd out early.

You are honestly comparing Ron Dayne to Fournette ... really?
Nope...I'm just saying that Dayne was dominating everyone the same way. You play the games for a reason.

How are LSU's WRs and QB in the passing game?

I honestly do think we'd be better at stopping Fournette than we did Captain Spalding if our offense does anything positive.

First of all they are two totally different players ... Dayne couldn't catch Fournette if Fournette was running backwards ... they year SU handled Dayne was 1997 ... the staff's for both teams were totally different and in fact UGA manhandled Wisky in a bowl game that year and shut Dayne down just like we did ... he ran for 1400 yards that season ... not nearly as dominant as one would think. Fournette is a legit freak of nature and while I pray SU can shut him down it is a very very tall task that the likes of Shafer and co. have yet to face.

Win or lose, it's always important to test yourself against the best and show the players the kind of execution, quality, and talent to strive for.

If they get whooped, it shows them how much harder they gotta work to improve. thank goodness there's a bye week after...
