That is the most undart thing to say, right? We need buy in from the coaches. The players that come here WANT to be coached and to be driven. No excuses = accountable.I like the bit where he mentioned they had a bad practice and a coach suggested maybe they chill a bit. Fran says if you say that to me again you're fired. LOL.
You can't always have bullseyes, but yeah, that's like missing dart board bad. That is the most undart thing to say, right? We need buy in from the coaches. The players that come here WANT to be coached and to be driven. No excuses = accountable.
I am a product of Hackensack High School. But who wants a house out in Hackensack? Is that all you get for your money?Where's the thread for our latest verbal commit? Mark Ingram clearly said his son will play for Fran. Ingram keyed in on the Jersey aspect. I assume he lived in NJ when his dad played for the Giants.
Edit: He was born in Hackensack, NJ
All it gets you is a heart attack-attack-attack, you oughta know by now ( I am completely guessing at the next lyrics, I did not look them up). Very clever post on your part.I am a product of Hackensack High School. But who wants a house out in Hackensack? Is that all you get for your money?
I’m a huge Billy Joel fan.All it gets you is a heart attack-attack-attack, you oughta know by now ( I am completely guessing at the next lyrics, I did not look them up). Very clever post on your part.
So, you know Mark Rivera (who also played sax on Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer) and your mailbox is in the Smithereens? Wow!I’m a huge Billy Joel fan.
Speaking of Billy Joel, here’s a true story: Billy’s saxophone player Mark Rivera went to my church in Brewster NY and his son Dario and my son Matt were schoolmates. One day I hear a crash outside my house and looked outside and saw my mailbox in smithereens. About 10 minutes late I get a call from Mark Rivera telling me his son Dario had just destroyed my mailbox and can he come over and fix it.
My son Matt is a musician so thinking quickly I told Mark that instead of that, could he give my son Matt some guitar lessons (Mark also plays guitar).
So he did! And the best part of it all is that he also gave my son Matt a recommendation to both NYU and Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Next time you see a Billy Joel concert and you see the fantastic saxophone player you’ll think of me lol.
Edit: sorry for getting off track

Yep! You can add Foreigner, Ringo Starr Band and Hall and Oates. I have to admit a little man jealousy. Dude is just too good looking and charismatic even when not performingSo, you know Mark Rivera (who also played sax on Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer) and your mailbox is in the Smithereens? Wow!
I'm a huge fan as well. You might enjoy the Billy Joel A to Z podcast. It can be a little rough at times, but it goes through Joel's entire catalogue alphabetically including unreleased tracks. It's hosted by a couple of NYC comedians.Yep! You can add Foreigner, Ringo Starr Band and Hall and Oates. I have to admit a little man jealousy.
