If they had McCord AND Nixon I would say yes, they likely win 3-4 more games. Just McCord in that system, maybe 2-3 more.

I get the analytics and when to go and not. But like he says, they are using random small sample size to make decisions and ignoring the data that you have in person. if you went by the book MLB would throw the best pitcher 162 games a yr.

Yes you do need to factor in your gut when making some calls. Baseball is a different animal with analytics and they even say not to start the best pitcher sometimes

I literally major in Sports analytics, and yeah, never rely on numbers alone to make your decision, they can be helpful, but they aren't everything.
