I know for a fact that’s not the case. But give JW credit, he listened and he listened well. The rest is history and the future of this program is incredible hands. I actually saw JW yesterday at the Clarence rest stop on the thruway and just told him thank you for all this excitement and everything surrounding football. He seems like a new man now with all the positivity and engagement with all the people

I don't know how this will turn out, but I'm freakin' thrilled that SU is trying to be big time. The whole "we're a private northeast school, we should do cartwheels if we win 6 games" has been hella lame.

I mean, we can always lower our expectations. I know because the program has been one big exercise in that for 20+ years.
