Fran's Holiday Bowl Press Conference | Wash St

Impressed nobody mentioned the “500 extRa pRacTices” (or whatever number) that comes with the bowl. Always remember people overplaying that a tad when Cuse was 6-6… guess they needed it more lol.

I still believe that helps, especially for the young players/bottom of the roster. If nothing else gives the coaches more eval time and a few more reps to the players that don't see the field much.

My dating history at BYU suggests otherwise.

Definitely spent some quality time with some goth girls.

I hear what you are saying, but I think Fran wants his guys to have the integrity and trust in him to man up and tell him face to face. I don't think that's too much to ask. With regard to the players coming in, hopefully they do things the right way or learn from Fran how to do things the right way.
Folks on general football boards were pretty split. Some said it is good for someone to stand up for integrity. Most thought it would detract players from coming here. There was some discussion that coaches never tell the players and community when they are interviewing for new jobs. Not like Marrone informed his team he was interviewing for the Bills, etc.

I am old school... but the hard part is that I think it goes a bit too far in punish players for just considering the portal. Pretty unrealistic for someone to expect a player to be deemed a snake just for considering the portal. We have probably all considered professional moves at times, without taking action. Not even talking applying or interviewing for a job--just pondering it.

The dating scene at BYU overall was unreal. Beautiful women everywhere.
I lived in Denver for 5 years & went to the @ BYU game back in the day.

The environment was a bit weird to me, but the women were gorgeous.

The thought of beautiful goth women among that bevy of fit mountain girls packed tight in blue jeans is something.

Pretty much all he said. It's not the leaving, it's the not having the discussion and talking about it behind his back.

The only dating goal I didn't achieve was I would have liked to have taken a Cougarette (that's their award winning competitive dance team) on a date.

Dating culture is big at BYU (at least it was when I was an undergrad 20ish years ago). It was really social and meeting people was highly encouraged. Huge international population too, I probably went on dates with girls that were from 10 different countries. It definitely gave an average Joe like myself the chance to meet girls that way outclassed me. People can't believe the, uh, obvious disparity in looks between me and my wife.
