I'm hoping this is the truth:

Can't say unequivocally at this point that there is nothing to what Davis is alleging about his experience 25 years ago, but the situation is remarkably different from that at PSU.
Here, SU did an investigation (outside counsel); the police investigated and could not corroborate; there was (so far) only 1 alleged victim (plus a relative?); nothing continuing into the past decade with a serial list of young boys; no naked showering one on one in the locker rooms; no credible case that Boeheim was aware of any inappropriate touching; no indication that any SU official provided false testimony in an investigation; Boeheim is able to stand up for his long-time assistant.
The American way -- the police and university do investigation, determine what the situation is (plus any continuing risks, if any), and go with their best judgment. The PSU way --
