Was told one of ND, Clemson or Louisville will be played on Friday night next year.

Is ESPN even looking that far ahead? They can't get game times out more than 12 days before.

Also if we are decent, wouldn't ESPN want the ND or Clemson games available for Saturday?

I would think Cal, Louisville, SMU are the safe picks.

I predict Louisville. Good enough to get some eyeballs, but not SO good as to take eyeballs away from Saturday. Louisville/Syracuse could benefit from being one of the main Friday games.

Can I bet Louisville on Friday, Sept. 11 right now?

Looking at the schedules of our opponents, everyone else has a non-con game scheduled on Sept. 12. Louisville plays Georgia the following week, so the ACC wouldn’t mind giving them an extra day I bet.

JMU/Louisville didn’t do well. The Baylor/SMU game on the CW beat it by a bunch.

In fairness to both of those teams, they got the bad draw of going up against the rare Friday NFL game.
