This is terrible news. Time warner is the devil.I'm assuming it will be on TW Sports and it will not be available on Verizon. I'm pretty sure there's some kind of weird deal where Time Warner has to make regular season games available to cable competitors but not exhibition games.
TW is carying it so I asume they will also stream it. Last year they streamed the exhibitions and at least a couple of them were free, not sure if that will work this season. I'll try to check their livestream schedule.
OAA is only showing an audio feed and after emailing them they confirmed that there will be no video. What is up with that, they also didn't have the Orange Madness this year. I'm not sure how they expect to collect money when they aren't going to do live feeds on the Exhibitions and early home games that out of towners cannot see otherwise.
Agreed. My subscription runs out shortly, but everything that I will be able to watch as a subscriber they show basically "For Free" anyway on the main page. Why would I want to pay a monthly subscription fee when 98% of the content I will get to watch now is for free?
Cheers,
Neil
Does Time Warner Cable have the ability to stream it online? Perhaps not in Syracuse area (so it doesn't cannibalize its TV audience), but in other areas?OAA says its a TV rights issue. So basically TW ownes this game and ESPN owned Orange Madness. They don't show the schedule far enough ahead of time to see if they will have the other exhibitions.
My on screen guide shows it on TWSports in Syracuse Ch 19 in SD and 323 in HD. I know that doesn't help people in other areas or with other providers, but I posted it for the locals and to confirm that at least it is televised and another outlet might pick it up.

Does anyone have a phone number or email for the oaa fplks?m
7 p.m., NY Timewhat time does the game start?
I was also thinking about signing up for OAA this year. However, I now have some concerns based on some of the comments here. The exhibition games I'm not overly worried about, but the OOC games I do want to see as most of them will not be televised where I am.
I emailed through the OAA link specifically asking "What Men's Basketball games will you be streaming this season?" They responded very quick saying "The streaming schedule has not come out yet, check back in a few days." I will likely follow up again.
i got better things to do than help you out.ahh, 3pm here. Hopefully you guys will keep me informed in the chatroom!
