The problem even when Buddy spreads the floor, Quincy and Marek can’t beat quality bigs off the dribble. Quincy was not good today. He has struggled all year against the better front lines in the ACC.

Personal Negativity can drive good posters away.

Honestly I was reading some really crazy chit and felt I needed to say something.
I am critical when i feel its warranted but can’t take bringing family or going super personal in these threads.
It can’t be allowed.
If we moderator ourselves then it saves the moderators having to clean up stupid chit.

I get I am wrong plenty as well. I just didn’t like the tenure when I wrote this thread.

Yup. Most likely we will have a new coach in two years. Every one needs to remind themselves of that and chill.

The ball pressure he is under kind of proves the 1st point: teams concentrate on Buddy because no one else demands that attention. Buddy Buckets misses Elijah as much as we do.

One saving grace I do have is I think we are better next year. I think Quincy is back and I think Benny is really good. Also a year better for kidary and woody. I think frank will be better too.

we have no inside game. We don’t even pass it inside. Why would you not stick to Buddy.

The thing that drives me nuts is that we could have an inside game.

Marek can do a few things down there. Quincy has some moves. Neither one is Otis Hill crafty in the post or anything, but they can both get decent shots and draw fouls.

Your last sentence proves the point. Buddy is the focal point of opposing defenses. Last year he was not, Elijah was. Buddy is not an alpha. It’s not his fault that there aren’t other, better options on offense. AG is a nice player, but as of now, he does not command attention like Elijah did.

I heard from someone close to the team that everyone expects Q to leave after this year. Not that he should but that's just what I'm hearing.

“We’ll be better next year” has been said every year for the last 6 years. We’ve gotten worse almost every year.
I have zero faith in JB to fix this.
