True. There's a lot that was wrong with that game, yet we still had a chance.

We have to move past always having a chance into taking advantage of opportunities when they arise. A 4-8 season beating Clemson is still a 4-8 season.

We arent all that good ourselves yet but we’re getting better. Home field is everything. We haven’t beat a team with a pulse on the road since when? Missouri in 2012?

At least we aren’t getting blown out on the road like we usually did before this year.

We should have went for it on 4th early when we tried the long FG. The play calling instead of the FG at the end of the 1st half it was makes this tough. If you are going to just run slow developing plays inside the 15, that's just nonsense. Take the points.

I was hoping to center the ball I thought our first time out of the drive on a short gain wasn't Necessary ... but all in all a well fought game . ED makes plays and grits it out but his completion percentage needs to improve in this high percentage passing game 55% today 45% the last 2 combined

Reading this board, our team is a lot better than our fans. We were done in the first quarter. Then we weren't. We were done so many times during the game. We played a heck of a game and came up just short. Some of you guys expect things from the team you root for that you would never expect from yourself.

It’s not this particular team coaches or players, they did what they could. Almost but not quite.

It’s this freaking program. Cannot get out of its own way. EVER. It was given a golden opportunity today from a team that has a down year once every 30 years. And it blew it. Typical Syracuse.

With a Dome and an offense that should provide lots of opportunities, you would think we’d be able to recruit that level of a kicker.

As I said after Clemson, let’s wait and see if that result was because we were good or just one of those games. It’s looking more like one of those games that mediocre team happens to take out a good team.

What's that mean? Did you think it was possible that this team was elite? We were never going to be elite with this talent. It's happening and it's happening slowly. We win 6 games this year, win a make believe bowl game and it's off to next year where we will be a bit better.

There is no question we are better. My gripe is on the terrible play calling. As we get better players, we’ll win more games IN SPITE of Dino’s mistakes. I don’t expect him to get any better. He is who he is. We’ll take the good with the bad.

Tennessee is loaded with talent they suck too. Stars aren't always everything. Syracuse is the better team... they blew this game.

I sure wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with a lot of the bunch here. You can tune in to watch us now and be pretty assured that you are going to see a good game. That is a stark improvement. We play a real tough schedule. the 7-6 teams we had in the old Big east couldn't have done that with the schedule we are playing now.
