Simplify the playbook and pound the ball to try and control the clock. Get rid of the bubble screens, especially against the FSU defense. Their corners are generally good at tackling in open space.

Study the NC State offensive gameplan that produced 520 total yds with 359 coming from the air. Run jet sweeps, fake jet sweeps w/ pass plays, reverses, reverses w/ passes and anything that may confuse the FSU defenders which will not be an easy task.

Helping to create the game plan is much different than being responsible as the OC. Lester now has final say on all of it, I think.

Lester said he is going to try to establish the run game. This is great, except this is the wrong game for that. I have to imagine FSU gameplan involves shutting down our run and forcing our back up QBs to beat them with the pass.

We're going to have to be able to pass to run.

If we have any shot, the first drive will be key. I think FSU will stack the box - either were able to run on them still, or we'll have to complete a few passes to spread them out
