My random seat mate was Sean McDonough, and we spent entire flight talking sports, and sports personalities. Great way to spend an hour while being held captive on a plane. In response to my question, he said he and Jay Bilas will continue to do Big Monday, but without a replacement for Blll Raftery who, he said, they will really miss. Sean was flying to Syracuse to broadcast Saturday's game. Right after the game he is driving to Jerssy where he'll do Sunday's Giants game.

Most of the rest of the plane was filled with the UNC volleyball team heading to a game at SU.. They were all six feet tall, blonde and gorgeous.

It was a random seat on a random Jet Blue fight. Anyone could have been sitting there.

Joyce, before this post, I used to wish I had your connections. Now I wish I had your luck.

Your posts are great, love reading them! Hope to introduce myself to you at the tailgate. See you then!

Here is a test: Which of CTO's random passengers, Sean McDonough
th
or the UNC Women's volleyball team,

would you have been more excited to have on YOUR flight.

Why would he drive? Yeesh.
Because it is an easy drive and a pretty one this time of year. I do it all the time. Plus, there aren't as many direct flights to Newark on the weekend (there aren't many to begin with during the week either, Basically a Dash-8 Q200 a couple of times a day.)

She didn't say it was the women's volleyball team!

The women without a doubt, but they need to be wearing those shorts they wear.

Things like this happen mostly to YOU.:)

Those odds get better when it's one of the 6 first class seats.
There is no first class on Jet Blue. But we were in those "even more room" seats at the front end of what is an all-coach plane.

It's definitely an easy drive but if I had a choice I'd fly every time. I'm all for nature and scenery but 4 hours driving vs flight is no contest.

Especially when I'm connected enough to be Joyce's seat neighbor on a plane.
