JB is loyal to his players, especially the guys who stick it out even when they don't get as much PT. By all accounts, Mookie kept his head up last year at the end of the bench, and his departure had nothing to do with basketball. Mookie is still a good player, and can help SU in practice. If he is a good teammate too, there is no reason JB would not want him back.
