I'm excited about Eddie to a degree in that we havent had a post scorer in awhile, but I think the excitement should be based in some sort of reality. Eddie scored 10 pts a game. He was 3-10 for 8 pts vs FSU last year. The idea he will be a big mismatch is a stretch when defense is half the game.

How on earth does St. John’s have more money than we do? I know it’s about one big donor but a commuter school with trash recent history having more resources than us is so disappointing.

It’s quite clear that the money helps but Pitino still has some attraction. St John’s was a little better than us last year and I think they have widened the gap. They will be preseason top 15-20 and we will be off the radar (again). Our portal recruiting is not top tier at the moment and needs to change.

It's the second year in a row where we're losing more than that's leaving.

As it stands now, this year is all on Freeman's back. I'm all about in bringing older portal players in but not one of these guys are our will be impact players.

Last year I give a complete pass because it was the first year but this is his second portal cycle and it's arguably more lackluster than last and these names/stats/previous conferences don't give me much hope.
