Kansas (relative to their normal) struggled this year and one part of that was 3pt shooting at the PG spot. In Self’s system ( go back to his Illinois teams too) having a primary ball handler that is adept and efficient from distance is key so it’s not surprise they’ve been a bit down the past two years to go with. Adding Council is interesting given he is definitely not a guy who is likely to change that for them.

Kid is a winner and makes plays. He's a much better version of JJ, IMO. How would he pair with JJ? I don't know. But he'll be an asset to a winning program.
