Game 1 Depth Chart / Game Notes | Tennessee

Got a good feeling heading into this game. Tennessee isn’t as well put together as they should be. I’m confident Fran will have the team ready to play. Angeli is the right choice to keep the offensive philosophy of last season.

Not cool! Hoping we have one. I need my fix...and makes it easy to put names and numbers together when we have a more clear picture of who will be on the field...rather than me trying to recall 100 numbers.

I thought there were rules where you had to release a depth chart.

Edit: But I looked it up and apparently there are no depth chart rules and coaches don't have to release one.

Was it also mentioned that Josh Heupel has more chins than a... wait, I don't think I can use that joke anymore.

Well anyway, he has a lot of chins.

Not sure which one is going to get the nod as backup chin. Probably Chin #4 or Chin #5. No depth chart keeps us in the dark...
 
For what it’s worth a lot of chatter on the inter-web about how Tennessee is on upset alert.

A lot of whatever team settles in first and has fewer turnovers.

Not just on our interweb here either!
 
Putting anyone on upset alert is such a crapshoot week one. I want to believe we can beat Tennessee. But truthfully Fran truly has no idea how good we are. You can see things in practice and flashes of talent, etc…but you truthfully don’t know until the lights are on and everyone is going game speed against a real opponent. Same goes for Tennessee obviously. Will be a good first test though to start the season
