Colgate has hung tough with FCS Top 25 teams. Gets more interesting without Willis. Not sure a power back is needed vs Colgate, but already the RB room will have a strange look to it. Nixon won be running 20 times so someone will need to get 10-15 carries. If for no other reason that Nixon may see some heavy use next week for Clemson.

Clearly, they are trying to rest anyone who is questionable to get ready for Clemson. Probably wise, and if they can't beat Colgate by 21-28 points down a few starters well I don't know what to sayWillis took a hit to what looked like the side of his head early last week going out of bounds. He left for one play but came back in. Wonder if he had some lingering effects this week.

Curious the injury. With Oline maybe a high ankle sprain.Have heard mixed things so not sure. Not optimistic based on the boot and scooter though. I’d be surprised if he’s back this year.

It's extra bad if the potatoes are "shaky." Like really really bad. It's a running board joke to reference potatoes when talking about injuries.
Often with the word "dreaded."
For example, "Oh no, he's in a boot, must be the dreaded potato ankle."
It's fun. Cathartic for handling a bummer situation like injury.
yup. we also have a lot of depth that will be great to play. honestly it'll make the game more interesting to watch seeing malachi get some carries, some youth play on the OL and hopefully some youngsters get run at WR and at DL.Clearly, they are trying to rest anyone who is questionable to get ready for Clemson. 100% it's a good opportunity for a number of guys. Should be fine and still an easy winyup. we also have a lot of depth that will be great to play. honestly it'll make the game more interesting to watch seeing malachi get some carries, some youth play on the OL and hopefully some youngsters get run at WR and at DL.
A healthy Hatcher seems almost like a sign of the apocalypse. We got left tackle depth chart shenanigans.
Has Hatcher played a snap yet? Is he even a go physically?

I know we used to complain about how hot it was in there in the pre AC days, but lord have mercy it was about 15 degrees in there last weekend! I’m bringing a winter hat tomorrow night.

Re: Hatcher. His right leg has a full sleeve on it and he's definitely wearing a very bulky knee brace. Wouldn't surprise me if they are trying for a medical redshirt.
