We all know the weaknesses of the team and been critical of them throughout these boards. We see the same things you see. You don't have to mention it on every post, every chance you get. lol . Im starting to think you are General Joe.

It’s not a troll to point out the decencies of the team. I constantly hear the opposite from others on all the excuses and positives that others do not see if you watch the game. I do not see you calling them out.
I like others want every su players to be successful. That would only make the team successful which is what everyone wants.
However if a players performance is lacking then it should be pointed out. Just like when a player excels which I and others have acknowledged countless times on this board.
If you do not agree with our comments you have an easy solution. Skip reading our post. Just like I do when I see the same comments in constant support of certain players that provide excuses for their play which the film does not support.
Everyone has a right to their opinion.
I am hoping this Saturday the team goes out and kills it offensively. That TD improves on things I have been critical. If he does I will be the first person to give him credit and say he proved me wrong. If not then I am sure there will be many more poster then me that you will have to start calling trolls.

Ive had many posts where Ive been critical but I pull back when it gets to a point where I feel like its too much. It doesnt make me a more loyal fan when I do. I dont think the forum wants to hear me rant every day. I start to think of ways to get people to look at things differently instead of constantly bashing. Some may or may not agree with me and that's fine. Im all for optimistic and pessimistic posts. I personally need a balance of it. When you are constantly pessimistic and combative with guys that's been on this board for 10 years I start to question why are you here? Just to be right? Just to make sure everyone knows we are a 1-3 team? What's the intent?

You want to perpetuate belabored points of dysfunction reference SU athletics, have at it and enjoy your righteousness and First Amendment rights while you alienate yourself from the rest of the group. On this forum at least, find a way to bring a little more light and little less heat. And yes I do presume to speak for 98% of the posters on this board.

What I find interesting is I see the same people complaining about the offensive line and play calling on extended posts but do not see you calling anyone out. The point myself and others have made have been with the qb. Last year I like others continued to feel that it was the oline and not as much TD. However as this season progresses I see the same issues (not going through reads, not looking down field when feeling pressure and rolling out or holding the ball to long). Myself and others usually do not start threads we only respond to the posters that seem to constantly deflect the blame on other players. Should we let others continue to blame ol, wr, play calling or rb blocking and just say nothing of our opinion. I would agree if others who are constantly on this board deflecting blame away from TD on to other players did not continually post then there would be no need to point out the opposing point of view.
As I said Saturday will be telling. I hope that over the two weeks corrections have been made and TD excels. If not there will be many more posters beating the same drum repeatedly that you will need to respond too.

You have been a member here for 6 years and you probably been on Syracuse related forums longer than that. It’s only natural for me to respect your opinions because I understand your views and your intent. It’s easier for me to accept criticism of me or the SU team. It’s harder to value the opinions of people that’s only been in our community for 2 months and all they have done is contradict members that’s been having these discussions for years.

I can’t speak for anyone else here, but I don’t “call out” individual players on a college team. (Maybe a select few opponents. But even then it’s going to be rare.) That’s for professional sports.

After coaching that level when I was a little bit older, it brought a much different perspective. They're college age kids, most of them unable to legally drink...

Being in the public eye at that age cannot be an easy thing.

I try to remember that whenever making snap judgments during a game that I watch for enjoyment.
