I think its more likely that Fran meant he is going to miss 5 weeks of games, not 5 weeks total. He has a fibula fracture, which is exactly what Marlowe Wax had last year. Looking back to his timeframe, Wax was out for 54 days. That same time frame for Boobie Johnson would have him missing 5 games and being back for SMU October 4th

Their projected starting oline in preseason doesn’t show any of the oline players listed. They bring back four of five linemen from a strong line last year:

Duke will be missing two starting linebackers for this one and I imagine that’s gonna be a challenge for them:

Morris is the only starter for Duke that is out. 6th leading tackler.
