Game Threads are Exhausting

missed you guys in the chat. gave me time for some quiet reflection on the state of SU football.

Not trying to be a kiss-a$$ here but it’s got to be a lot worse having to moderate the bitching and complaining

Well, it's the moderators decision to moderate in the manner they do relative to that particular regard. I'm not talking about name calling, making things personal, etc., but just overall general venting, "bitching and complaining" as you call it.

I am a member of a couple of Cleveland Browns fan forums as a diehard lifelong Browns fan. I will just say, it's quite different in how it's moderated. As long as there isn't things related to what I mentioned above, or along those lines, it's generally free game and far less censorship.

The most exhausting part of a game thread is keeping up and watching the game at the same time. Not easy at all.
Never understood why posters want to track games in a thread as opposed to the chatroom.

Same 4 or 5 posters bitChing and complaining about Dino for 20 pages. Ughhh . Whatever happens happens .
Welcome to fandom lol the word fanatical is apart of it

Well, it's not "censorship". It abiding by the terms and rules of membership.

I am sorry you don't like it here.

Call it what you will. My main point was that it's the moderators decision to moderate the forum in the manner it is. That's fine. And, that's it.

In regards to me not liking it here, those are your words based upon your own thinking.

It's a public forum. If you don't like how the game threads are moderated you can always take your commentary to the chat room. Remember, It was discussed that game threads be eliminated and have only the chat room during games. Posters didn't seem to want that.

FWIW, I’m rarely ever in the game threads. For no other reason than it is simply typically not for me. It hasn’t anything to do with the way in which it’s moderated.

honestly i believe most folks jumped ship during the NCST game to hop over to the bball chat board and witness history and the monumental collapse of JB's crew against colgate.
i posted solo second half from the garage . ( my local radio station stayed football but gave updates ) not going to waste time watching a replay of either. appears the red raiders shredded the zone. more concerned with pitt game next week. gonna be win or lose lots for dino.

I can honestly say I have lapses in game thread moderation. I get caught up in the game.
