You're conveniently failing to mention the fact he's lining up Dungey's chest in the 1st photo & then the plain of that target changes in the 2nd due to ED being wrapped from behind. Mind you these 2 photos are probably .5 seconds apart. I still don't think there was intent to injure or that he was "instructed" to knock ED out, as has been suggested by many here. He was looking to deliver a hard hit on the QB, nothing more. Though obviously not as egregious, I think that, based upon intent, Kendall Coleman's helmet-to-helmet hit on Wake's QB 4 seconds after he released the ball last year was "dirtier". I don't recall anyone wanting him suspended for the remainder of the season or even charged with assault like some wanted the CMU LB. I know I'm in the minority here & this weill likely get flamed but sorry, I just don't see this as dirty.

We disagree. I think it is dirty. I think Mark's shot clearly shows the CMU kid looking right at Dungey from 7-8 yards away knowing full well the ball has left his hand. He can also see a player is wrapping him up and Dungey is on his way down. That results in Mitch needing to go low to ensure a nice head shot while Dungey's knees are on the ground. I don't recall Coleman's but if you have a video, post away.
