CFL teams can carry 19 American players on their roster - but QBs don’t count against that total. Weirdly that might still have worked against him, since I could have seen him in a “slash” role…but I think that would have counted against the quota.
I’d love to see him on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, haven’t made it up to see my team play in at least a decade.
