I mean certainly there’s some gray area between cheering him and publicly dressing him down

I want the coaches to take him out. But if you are going to roll him out there you can't have an assistant doing that. It does nothing good. At this point it isn't Collins fault he is being put out there on the field. It is on Fran.

Theyre adults getting paid in a high pressure sport, I think its just old school coaching moment. Sometimes it’s a last ditch effort to try and get your QB to put it all on the line and play angry so to speak. Not a huge deal at all IMO

That's BS. Rickie is terrible, Gattis lit him up because he missed a wide open WR in the endzone. It's the A in DART, hold him accountable. He came here to get better, getting called out is part of it.

For what it’s worth if tomorrow I watched Jalen Hurts get publicly chewed out by some quality control guy I’d think that was bush league as well

I've seen worse in pop warner and high school. These are paid athletes whose bad play impacts the careers of the coaches.

The problem is it is Gattis and not Nixon or Fran. A low level coach shouldn't have the freedom to do that.

Rickie is making money to play for SU.
At this point the water people should be allowed to light him up.
Zero concern for a “low level” coach that knows that they are doing lighting up a kid when he can’t see wide open WRs.
Get used to having ALOT of these “low level” coaches on the sidelines.
Days are gone of 10 people only really interacting with the players on the sidelines.

Not sure Nixon is going anywhere. Offense has been putrid the last two games against average defenses. Of course most of that is on the qb but his decision making has been suspect to say the least
