my two cents

I will keep this short for now more later once i get to watch the game on TV. Fran and this staff for my two cents and i have said this from the beginning are a perfect fit for Syracuse University. Simply put they are one of us They understand our culture and most importantly they come from the same swatch of cloth as almost every kid and parent on the team. I hope that somehow JW and the efforts of our fund raising group can pay him enough money so that he doesnt leave. I seriously doubt that we will in my remaining life be able to find an individual with the fit that we have in Fran. I have had the pleasure of getting to know him and the staff this last year and what you see is real. They truly care about the kids. It comes from their backgrounds and from the heart. Fran is passionate and their is nothing he is more passionate about than his faith family and friends. All of them before Football and then he loves Syracuse. He is just getting started and i believe and have previously posted that he is bound for way more than football. I have no idea where he ends up in life but whervere it is he is going to make a positive differenece in peoples lives. He has already in mine and i would run through a wall for him. We need to support him the kids and this staff as they move forward without Steve and hope that next year he comes back stronger and better. Collins is extremely well liked and respected by the team and the fact is that the decision to start Steve wasnt made when he signed and wasnt made until the end of camp. Collins is a talent. Inexperienced for sure but he is a talent. I believe that Nixon will put him and us in position to win and i truly feels as if we can still end up with an amazing season.

Last point for now. How about Erob and the D. So happy and proud of them. It was without a doubt Erobs best performance as a very young coach, and he is only going to get better. Fran and Erob are brothers for life, and I'm thrilled that for both of them and for the kids on D who i can promise where getting sick of hearing the negativity surrounding their coach and their side of the ball.

Lots more to share. Suffice to say that not since the days of Mac has the culture and environment been this positive on the Hill. Everyone on this staff is on the same page and i can honestly say the kids love being on this team and love each other. I wish everyone on this community could have a chance to see what he has built as it is inspirational.

Great win. Sad for Steve but he will bounce back next year and when he does watch out.
