I am taking my 12 year old son to his first Syracuse lax game vs Duke this weekend. How difficult is it to get decent seats in general admission area or should I just purchase tickets as I want him to have the best possible experience. Please help a fellow Cuse lax and Bills fan out!

Buy them in advance. There are tons of seats. No worries. I usually sit on the opposite side of the teams so I can see the sideline. I just sat on the 39 yard line, row 4 for Georgetown and there were lots of empty seats all around me.

Agree with everyone else, buy your tickets tonight if you havent already. Park between east genesee st and the dome and hit Varsity for a slice before walking up to the dome. if I was bringing a 12 year old to their first game, I would be in the building at least an hour before the game. Go directly to the aisle between 102 and 101 and go as close to the field as you can on the left side (102). This will put you right behind the SU bench and you son might get some interaction with the players, if not he will get a up close view of the game prep. You can then either stay there to watch the game and the bench (not best view of game, but cool to see the bench) or move to a higher vantage point to see more of the field. I like section 117 personally, close to midfield but not as crowded.
