First game tonight vs. Brown at 7pm. It's on ESPN+. Brown is favored by 2.5Looks like GMac's 1st regular season game is on Monday, November 4th vs Brown, the same night Cuse is hosting LeMoyne.
Good W for GmacOn his first win as Head Coach. Still way behind Boeheim.
It went into OT and they pulled out a nail biter.Good W for Gmac
3 pts, 5 boards, 5 pfs for Carey
man you're not kidding. Friggin great. All right they play at cornell, Monday dec. 30 who's in with me to go!'
At this rate he will not be at Siena long. That’s a really good win for GMAC. 11 point road dog victory.
I never thought being clutch was something you could coach, but there goes GMac creating a team that wins just the way a team full of little GMac's would win.
Palpable buzz. Dude loves that phrase. lol.
I was surprised that he allows video inside Siena’s lockerroom at halftime and the end of games including his speeches to the team. Very open access to fans, etc regarding his coaching of the team.I finally watched the end of their first game Monday night vs. Brown. Siena was down by 5 with 50 seconds to go in regulation. They made a 2, Brown missed, and Siena brought the ball up down 3 with 20 seconds left. Their best 3-pt shooter put up an awkward shot with 2 seconds left to tie the game. The shot missed but he was fouled. He (Brendan Coyle) made ALL 3 FTs. CLUTCH. Their defense played a big part of thei win in OT. They interviewed GMac on the ESPN+ telecast after the game. He talked very candidly about what they did well and what they did poorly. And he emphasized how well they played defense and how much he emphasizes defense. It was a much more candid interview that you often hear from coaches postgame. It may have been Fran Brown - like.
I caught the end of last night's game. Again CLUTCH. Next game Tuesday night vs. American U. at home. ESPN+
