GMAC / Blackwell / AO to Siena

Siena lost to American last year by 20. Just thought I’d mention that my eldest son graduated from Siena so I have followed them for a while. They have hit tough times for a while so I’m happy for GMac and Siena - there’s excitement again there. Great job by Carey - we heard how much potential he had and that he was very athletic. Looks like he’s on his way.

So many people on here mocked him and said he would never develop into anything. I saw a player with a lot of potential. Glad he might have a chance to realize it at Siena.

I thought he was the best recruit of his class, i thought he was going to turn into a stud, def needs some weight though but kid was hampered by injuries and needed court time to slow down

I don't get the skinny nature of so many of these tall basketball players (I can't really call them big men). Chet Holmgren has a fractured pelvis after falling. That's not normal for a guy in his early 20's.

Peter has more potential than Chance Westry who looks at the court as often as I went to class. If we paid for that which, I'm sure we did, then maybe are new GM should cut bait.

PS... Chet is the defintion of a big man.

Chet is not big. He is tall. 208 lbs at 7'1" is far from big. He's a highly skilled tall man.

GMacs team looks fundamentally sound.smart plays on O & D. GMac must be doing a good job.

Carey can’t stay on the floor long because of fouls.
He was hustling all over the place & getting into position, but people would just push them out if the way.

It looks like this was the last year of a three game series - one home game for each school, 2022 was nearest site. Albany wanted this to be at MVP Arena as a neutral site game for years - is there a reason for the home-&-home part of this deal? Playing at Broadview with 4,000 seats doesn’t seem ideal, historically that wasn’t what Albany pushed for - I’m wondering if that changed or if Siena wanted at least one year with it as part of their season ticket package and had to agree to an Albany home game to make it happen.
