I was at the Cuse vs Providence game in the Dome in Jan ‘89, when Sherm set the NCAA record with 22 assists !!

Stevie had 29 points.

Cuse won 100-96 = FRIES!!

And it never felt like it was that close;
we just kept running and gunning like the college version of the Showtime Lakers.

Of course, Hodg wasn’t even 2 yet, so I doubt he remembers that.

Yep. UConn, Gtown, St John’s, Nova as the big four IMO with an occasional game against Seton Hall and Providence.

We shall see how Da Baby Shark does against the top teams in that league. You are more than welcome to support your man and become a Providence fanatic. As far as Hop goes it’s really simple: if Hop is good enough for Melo then he is good enough for me. I don’t question Melo’s takes on coaching and he doesn’t tell me how to run the deli counter at Wegmans. We stay in our respective lanes.
