Golden Opportunity...

We need to get the Dome reno going stat.

Good point. At the very least, make the timeline public. I would guess however that coaches are playing up the major reno with current recruits.

I think we took the first step by winning those games this year. We need to make a run of that so that we're viewed as the only viable option in the NE. Keep putting up big numbers, get the scoring in line with the yardage, get the Dome going and we could be on the cusp of some good times.

The utter dysfunction that now exists at BC, Rutgers, and UCONN has opened up an opportunity for us to take a ginormous step forward in northeastern football.

Can't this up.
I posted the same thing in another thread. add in peen state, they are not positioned well either. dino is the wildcard, we have to beat these other dregs for every last recruit.

I would love to get things rolling and then get them on the schedule around 2019 to beat the snot out of them.

I think a key difference between Rutgers and us is that Ash is learning how to be a HC, while Babers knows how to be a HC. Ash will lose a year or two of progress in some ways just from making mistakes that you make when you've never done the job before. We haven't got that problem. However, judging from recruiting commits for 2017, it appears Ash can sell.

I'm crossing my fingers that the win over Ohio State secured James Franklin another 10 years at Penn State, but I'll settle for 5. He's a great recruiter. Terrible football coach. He'll never bring Penn State to the playoffs.

The biggest thing we need to do to capitalize on this momentum is to find a way to get the Dome rocking again. I'd really love to see a 43K+ showing at the dome for one of the next two games.

I really have no doubt whatsoever that Babers will get us there. The man, although largely unproven just yet, will be the greatest gift that douche ex-AD Coyle ever gave us.

Start by retaining the Northeast, then soon be competitive with Clemson, FSU & LVille for an ACC Title.

It can happen, especially with the dynamic duo of Wildhack & Babers.

Yup. It starts by being the only one of the group to go to a bowl this season.

Let's do it!

Does anyone know what is taking so long with going public of Dome reno details?

I have no idea. The only thing that comes to mind is that the Governor's proposed budget comes out in a couple of months. Maybe the University is hoping for a line item.

we need fannies in seats where cameras are pointed. i trust that wildhack gets it but i wonder how adept he'll be at getting over all the inertia.

lets go in the direct opposite direction of SS.

lets leave the Dome doors unlocked.

since we will be running up the score on them...we will leave the doors open so they can quit and run out any time they want.

I could not agree more. We already stand out via our offense, but to be the lone bowl team among that grouping would be icing on the cake.
This is only one more reason the Pitt game is enormous.
If we can remind recruits that we beat Pitt, UConn and BC in Dino's first year, ... well, that is a sturdy platform to speak from.

Dream big. Why not secure that bowl game in the Dome with an FSU scalp? Talk about a signature win.
