It's been a progressive thing over the past couple years.
Tough kid. I'd like to see what he could do when healthy!

Then just go back another year to find Taj Smith.
Without a doubt. I think we can all agree that Williams was the most talented/skilled WR we have had in a long time, but with him being the Billy Edelin of the football program, you just never knew what you were going to get and when and you couldn't count on him. So taking that into account, Lemon probably is the best in awhile. I think he is under appreciated because people long for that 6'3 kid or the kid with 4.3 speed of which Lemon is neither. But he's not small and he's not slow and is so consistent and dependable that it puts him among the best. If he comes back 100% whether it is this fall or next, I would expect him to be 1st all BE and an NFL draft pick.
A bunch...I knew he was hurt for at least the last half of the season. When was he hurt? How many of those 68 receptions were caught when he was injured?
Kid runs routes very well, catches well, blocks well.
He's more than just a possession receiver, but as noted not the classic big play #1 receiver.

Imagine if he was 100%...He knocked on some records this year...
Alec is definitely "Captain" material.Without a doubt. I don't see what the big deal is. Last time I saw Lemon he clearly had two shoulders...just tell him to use the other one. I've seen him make a one handed catch a time or two.He undergoes some significant shoulder surgery today. Here's hoping for the best for him.
Go...I happen to agree with cuseincincy. Taj was the only weapon we had for a couple of years and teams had to give him full attention.
considering his future is on the line I wish him all of the best in the cutting room. Having been on the table and heard these words"Quick get the paddles" I know what can happen in there.:bang:He undergoes some significant shoulder surgery today. Here's hoping for the best for him.
Ouch that stinks.A good surgeon is the best start for Alex.significant as in it is not arthroscopic surgery. they are opening his shoulder up to repair some torn labrum cartilage but also reattach a bone that broke away.
The kid played hurt again most of this season. True warrior. Yes, best wishes for this to go well and for Alec to have an injury free senior season. Hope some other WRs develop so he doesn't have to play crazy reps in 2012.He undergoes some significant shoulder surgery today. Here's hoping for the best for him.
