I'm equally optimistic about New York State, in general.
I feel like if we make it to October and our infection and hospitalization rates remain this low, we are reasonably safe to start doing things and seeing people again.

thats not even the point. What IF it had been an event which spread the virus? SU didn’t want that risk taken. Everyone one of those students signed a contract that they’d follow SUs rules if you were on campus. And since SU put out that scathing letter there hasn’t been a repeat.

SUNY Oneonta. 100 cases, 2 week pause. We're doing better than them. Although, with a 20k student body, it could be easy to hit that mandatory 100 pause #.

Most schools either didn't have tests before coming to campus nor a test once students arrived. Frankly I'm shocked at what most of the schools (didn't) do.
