Apart from the obvious, we are slowly building a group of Georgia kids on the team. Morris must have been talking to Lynch and Curtis during his recruitment. Given all that we have heard about team dissension and internal strife, it sounds like the GA kids are all in and didn't say anything terrible that would have dissuaded Morris.

With 3 young GA kids on roster next year (4 if you count Hale, who the SU site lists as from Conyers), I would keep pushing recruiting down there. Easier sell if the kids don't feel like you're going onto an island.

Now if we could only get a pipeline into VA beach we would be set

Get the Hampton boys lol. That's how UVA is going to make a comeback. Taking all of Beemers recruits

Lynch played a big part in landing him. Those are the type kids that Marrone is trying to build something special around.

Cam Lynch +1 for you sir.

Actually we'll have 5 next year if you count TE Josh Parris.

The Atlanta area is a fertile recruiting area where the football competition is very good and we are also recruiting students into our general student population as well. This area will continue to grow in recruiting for us over time; IMO.

This is one of the areas where the move to the ACC will help. Living in SEC/ACC country, SU being in the ACC is a definite selling point for the Georgia kids.

I would love for us to be playing GA Tech every other year in Atlanta. With all the transplants here in the South, and ATL being an easy flight as a delta Hub, we would have a fan great turnout.
