It's the way the modern NBA game works. The Pistons & The Magic have the 2 worst records in the East, no possibility of making the playoffs. With 9-10 meaningless games left in the season, those teams often gives vets like Grant & MCW rest/time off to keep them healthy, give younger, newer guys opportunity, etc.

MCW is injured and Grant has been battling a sore quad muscle and knee.
