Have to agree with the many ahead of me, the uconn people are by far the worst. There is undoubtedly an inferiority issue in play with them but the attitude around the football program is just laughable. There was 1 year when they backed into a good bowl, other than that they have been a WAY below average program. I also find it comical that so many of them think they control the NY market, when the reality is, the SW corner of CT where I live, has ZERO interest in uconn, yet alone NY, AND THAT IS the main reason they will never get into a major conference, Hartford TV boxes are attractive to conferences and that's all they deliver.
I happened to pop onto their message board the other day and clicked on a read questioning if they are now "AAC Title a Contenders", this after barely beating Nova (who lost to Penn tonight) and Army and losing to Mizzou. It's just such a high level of delusion that it becomes frustrating to deal with. I happen to live in CT and went to a game in Hartford once and my entire family was treated like by those animals. They deserve everything they have gotten and the ensuing decades of 1AA football they have coming to them.
As for ACC, go to Clemson and anyone here with a poor opinion will quickly change their tune, it's an awesome place and the people are so pleasant. I've been to VT 3 times and have had positive experiences there as well. I'd prob rank NCSU at the bottom of my list if anything.
