So we have the biggest athletic apparel company on the planet wanting to make us an alternate jersey. Because we're a great brand and extremely popular. That we can market. And SELL. To make money. To compete.

And none of you have seen the damn thing yet.

And we're going to wear it for one game.

But you're freaking out.

As long as there is some obvious flashy orange on it we can go with any color. I still like the planet basketball logos the best. Hel! put a giant orange fruit or crayon or rainbow with only the color orange on it for all I care.

I Would prefer this particular team went with a aggressive black and orange look though. This team is very aggressive so much that they don't even rebound all that well. Black and glow in the dark florescent orange for the carrier dome. Turn the lights off pregame.

Yes, clearly it's adidas' fault UL has had a ridiculous number of injuries this year. Your point that a non-Nike school can't recruit anyone stands. Oh wait, no it doesn't. An adidas school won the 2012 Sugar Bowl and an Under Armour school won the 2011 BCS National Championship. And somehow wearing adidas and UA hasn't prevented Boston College's, Cincinnati's and USF's football teams from beating the Hell out of SU.

If the players like them and/or the recruits think they are cool and/or the university makes a ton a cash from it, I wouldn't care if they wrapped the kids in cellophane and had a 90 year old wino with Parkinson's hand paint a Swoosh symbol on the back with a plaid crayon.

Branding is huge, just read BleedsOrange's interview with Newton in which Newton actually talks about branding in his decision on what school to go to. I love that we're innovative with our uni's and do work with Nike. Excited to see these uniforms although I was really hoping for blacked out uni's.

Hate to use Syracuse.com.But they are the locals(the people who buy the gear).I would say its 99.9% against the grey crap.If SU goes grey THEY LOSE MONEY.I and (SURE MANY MANY) more will not spend money.I will NEVER EVER buy a grey SU shirt.EVER!
