I understand everyone already knows there is tampering. But isn’t that pretty wild that it’s announced he is entering the transfer portal and media already know what school he is headed to? And the NCAA won’t do anything about it. This is more so why the sport is going downhill. The NCAA has rules that they don’t enforce.

Maybe, but with Hartman, it was already known he was leaving after the Bowl.

The NCAA is on fumes. Will cease to exist soon. They didn't do much before and surely won't do much now about anything.

Syracuse players entering the portal following the bowl game this week is a definite possibility. However, for the players who have stayed in the program this far I think it's more likely to see additional players enter the portal following spring ball. After spring ball players will have a better idea of how they figure in the team's plans for the 2023 season.

Without putting any names out there, I have my eyes on a couple of players who have been in the program for a few years that may be buried on the depth chart behind a younger player giving that player less hope of seeing significant playing time in 2023. Of course, any such movement will require us to continue to be active in the portal following spring ball.

I'm hopeful that any young man who enters the portal has earned a degree before entering the portal. I hate to see anyone give up a scholarship and not land at another school.
