Both O and D need to play better or were gonna be in trouble

15 out of 18 face off advantage and only a two goal lead. Quite concerning IMO. McCool as about as bad as a first half I can recall an SU goalie having against a considerable dawg opponent at home. Their goalie has been very good obviously, however, several of our shot locations has contributed mightily to that.

Gotta be physical. Grace ole’d him like he wasn’t there. In general he needs to not be so passive.

Was going to say the same thing. Has to be physical on ball. Grace had the same issue last week. Can’t just run next to your cover at this level.

Yuck from the defense. I know Harvard is good, but with this faceoff discrepancy, this shouldn’t be close. Harvard just taking advantage of every mistake SU is making. Syracuse making a lot of mistakes. Ochoa stop being so flat footed! Just gotta be better against a team like this.

Normally would be thrilled with 10 goals at halftime, but they are leaving so much meat on the bone. Shooting consistently into the Harvard goalie’s stomach. Just gotta play better in all facets except faceoffs.

- 5g on off per qtr
- 3ga per qtr
- 95%+ clearing
- Winning the GB split

Cuse is almost there, but I don’t think this is on the O as bad as some of the shot selection has been, we need to make the hard (and easy) saves…

defense needs to step up and stop cheating down when ball behind cage as leaving someone up top wide open. McCool needs to get his stuff together n make saves. O needs to take care of ball n bury your chances. Also stop taking poor angle shots or shooting right at goalie. Get him moving pipe to pipe. Mullen take better shot Also make sure someone backing it up. Guys spectating to much .

Ochoa had a terrible approach on one of the goals. Very basic to protect topside.

Rankings rarely mean anything outside of the clear 5-10 or so studs per class tbh… Ippoliti’s HS career was way more illustrious
